Devils chocolate cake

Sebenernya nama kuenya bukan Devils Chocolate Cake tapi masih ad Devil-devilnya yang menandakan bahwa kue ini sangan devil sekali *tdk menjawab alasan sebenarnya (LOL)*.. gue dapet resep ini dari bongkar2 perpus jur Inggris di BLK.. sekali liat langsung jatuh hati dan pengen nyoba, sayang nya blom ad waktu dan tenaga serta uang jadinya cuma mengandai2 bagaimana rasanya.. yah buat kalian yang baca resep ini dan mencoba membuatnya bisa share rasanya dan tips2 atau apapun yang bisa ngePUSH org lain untuk bikin juga.. enjoy..

 
120 g      plain chocolate
225 ml    milk
120 g      sugar
120 g      butter
3 eggs, seperated
1/2 tsp    vanilla essence
225 g      plain flour
2 tsps      baking powder



Frosting:
120 g      icing sugar
45 g        cocoa powder
60 g        butter
45 ml      tbsps water
75 g        caster sugar

How to Make it:
  1. Put the chocolate, half of the milk and the sugar in a bowl over a pan of hot water and cook, stiring until the chocolate has melted.
  2. Beat the butter until soft, then beat in the egg yolks one at a time. Add the vanilla essence to the remaining milk, and sift the flour and baking powder together.
  3. Gradually add the flour and milk mixtures alternately to the butter mixture, beating well after each addition to obtain a smooth mixture. Stir in the chocolate micture.
  4. Whisk the egg whites until stiff, then add them gently into the cake mixture. Pour this into a greased deep 20 cm / 8 inch cake thin.
  5. Cake for about 35 minutes, in an oven preheated to 180 degrees (celsius) until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean. Turn out onto a rack to cool.
  6. To make the frosting, sift the icing sugar and cocoa onto a bowl. Put the butter, water and caster sugar into a saucepan and stir oven a low heat until the sugar dissolves.
  7. Bring to the boil then immediately pour into the center of the dry ingredients. Beat with a wooden spoon until smooth.
  8. Stir the icing occasionaly until the thick enough to leave a trail. Spread all over the cake and decorated by roughing-up with the tip of a table knife.
